INSPIRATION
Traveling in Belize many years ago I experienced the almost spiritual sensation of swimming in a rock pool in a remote natural wilderness, with a few fish for company. The aliveness of the moment, the connection to nature, and the sense of almost stepping out of time stayed with me and provided the spark for this painting.
