INSPIRATION
Traveling in New Zealand many years ago I experienced the wild, warm, invigorating beginning of a tropical storm. The exhilarating sensation, the frenzied movement of the palm trees, the rushing sounds, the energy of the moment stayed with me and formed the spark that inspired this painting.
