INSPIRATION

Traveling in New Zealand many years ago I experienced the wild, warm, invigorating beginning of a tropical storm. The exhilarating sensation, the frenzied movement of the palm trees, the rushing sounds, the aliveness of the moment stayed with me and inspired this painting.
