The Color Behind My Eyes Collection

It’s a softly dancing light, a dappling. My body still and surround sound faint. Saffron and rust and crimson moving in eddies with sudden, unexpected bolts of purple, chocolate brown, magenta. A natural kaleidoscope with blurring edges. Best to not look too hard, think too fast. Let the waves of color sweep and shimmer. And marvel.

Wilder Places Collection

When our children were younger, we ventured out into the California Sierras on wilderness backpacking trips. Steep, stony trails, heavy packs, aching muscles, and the need to coax reluctant mini hikers with Jolly Rancher candy all unfolded. The need to pull together really brought us together too. And the sheer, subtle joy of witnessing the soaring mountains at dawn, reflected in lakes with mirror surfaces softened by rising mists, was powerful. As it was being in the days, flooded with light. This collection is inspired by the awe of those memories, and the primacy of nature.

On the Edge of Sleep Collection

It’s a cannot quite grasp it sort of feeling. All the would be worlds are vivid here, and seeming real. And yet they dart sideways and avoid exploration. Present a palimpsest. One path overlaid on another. One layered world punctuated by a world before. All waiting for the deep dive in.
